1) The spools are not interchangeable with the "ci4" models. 2) The spools are completely different depending on whether the "C" at the front of the model number is "without" or "with" the spool. Please note that only spools with the exact same number (not even one letter different) as the models in the "Compatibility List" can be exchanged!
In this case, you can use the spool and rotor without any problem if you install one or two "Shimano reel accessory packings (washers)" and adjust the distance between the spool and rotor so that the spool and rotor do not hit each other. You can use the reel without any problem.
